With Commissioner Joan Lee retiring at the end of her term, I have been encouraged by members of our community to run based on my leadership experience and commitment to public service. After speaking with residents throughout east Polk County, I am humbled by the opportunity to be on the ballot this November.
My priorities for District 4 include:
Supporting public safety, emergency services, and veteran services.
Improving county infrastructure, including roads and bridges.
Pursuing operational efficiencies to control costs and reduce waste.
Promoting transparency and protecting our rural quality of life.
Collaborating with residents, local governments, and businesses.
I ask for your vote this November. Together, we can ensure Polk County remains a safe place to live, work, and visit for future generations.

Why are you running?
I have been encouraged to run for the Polk County Board of Commissioners based on my dedication to public service. If elected, I intend to use my experience to collaborate with stakeholders and effectively represent the residents of District 4.
What experiences qualifies you for this position?
Professionally, I have experience in community engagement, budgeting, labor relations, logistics, information technology, strategic planning, and the implementation of policies and procedures. My experience ranges from critical incident management to coaching.
What are you discussing with voters?
My primary focus is to ensure Polk County remains a safe place to live, work, and visit by supporting public safety, the health and wellbeing of our residents, and our infrastructure. East Polk County is an excellent place to raise a family, and our cities and townships are composed of people who care about their community and neighbors.
